People, Place and Policy is committed to a fair, transparent, and constructive editorial process.

Authors who believe an editorial decision has been made in error may submit an appeal to the Editorial Team, providing a detailed explanation of the grounds for the appeal. Appeals will be reviewed by the Editor and, where appropriate, additional editorial board members who were not involved in the original decision.

Complaints relating to the journal’s editorial processes, peer review procedures, publication ethics, or the conduct of editors, reviewers, or authors should be submitted to the Editorial Team at ppp-online@shu.ac.uk.

All complaints and appeals will be considered fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with the journal’s policies and accepted standards of publication ethics. Where appropriate, the journal may seek guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
