Post-publication Corrections and Discussions Statement
How to send corrections
Once published, the version of record will normally remain unchanged. However, if you identify an error, such as typographical mistakes, inaccuracies in author details or affiliations, or other issues requiring correction, please contact us at ppp-online@shu.ac.uk.
To help us locate and assess the article, please provide the following information:
- Article title
- DOI
- Article URL
- Corresponding author name and email address
- Description of the error
- Proposed correction
Justification for the request
Where multiple corrections are required, please submit either:
- An annotated PDF of the published article; or
- Screenshots clearly indicating the location of each error and the corresponding corrected text.
For corrections relating to figures or tables, please provide revised versions as separate files and include any necessary updates to associated alt text.
What happens next?
All correction requests will be reviewed by the Editorial Team in accordance with the journal’s editorial policies. Where appropriate, corrections, corrigenda, or other post-publication notices will be published to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record.
Readers who wish to raise concerns about published content, including potential errors, ethical issues, requests for clarification, or scholarly comments relating to published articles, are encouraged to contact the Editorial Team. All correspondence will be considered in accordance with the journal’s editorial procedures. Where appropriate, the journal may publish corrections, corrigenda, expressions of concern, retractions, letters, responses, or other post-publication notices.
Please note that requests that do not comply with the journal’s policies or cannot be adequately justified may not be approved as formal corrections.
